So when it comes to food, it’s pretty safe to say I love eating it. Preparing it however, not so much!
I always thought I had a “healthy diet.” However, once I got seriously into training and more recently competing, I really started to see what a MASSIVE part of reaching my health and fitness goals nutrition really was.
Keen not to be in the plain chicken and broccoli brigade, and with a desire to actually enjoy my food as well as get the results I wanted in terms of fitness and body composition, I took myself and my enormous sweet tooth off to the kitchen to experiment.
I soon discovered that nutritious food didn’t have to be dull and boring. It didn’t have to be beige and green. It didn’t have to be dry and bland. It didn’t have to be repetitive and tasteless.
Better yet, I could still satisfy my sweet tooth without gobbling up some of the additives and other nasties to be found in more traditional sweet treats.
Simple to prepare, nutritious, whole food, which also tastes GREAT. Isn’t that what we all want?

A mixture of main meals, shakes, smoothies and sweet treats (obviously!) which are jam packed with natural, nutritious ingredients that are kind to the body as well as the waistline.
